Earthquakes continue in the southern Kermadec Islands since last night’s magnitude 6.4 earthquake.

Earthquake activity in the southern Kermadec Islands has continued following last night’s magnitude 6.4 event. A magnitude 6.2 earthquake at 2:06 this morning New Zealand time is one of the many earthquakes that have followed yesterday’s quake.

Activity paused until early this morning, when a new burst of activity occurred.
